1) Overview
VIN Reports (“we”, “us”) provides vehicle history and related information products (“Reports”) through our website and APIs (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2) Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be legally able to form a contract in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and keeping your credentials secure.
- We may suspend accounts for suspected fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms.
3) Purchases, Credits, and Delivery
- Reports may be purchased per-report or via subscription/credits where offered.
- Delivery is typically immediate after successful payment or redemption, but may be delayed by provider/API availability.
- We may place temporary holds or limit usage to prevent fraud, abuse, or system overload.
4) Refund Policy
Because reports are digital goods delivered immediately, all sales are generally final. We will consider refunds only when:
- Payment was processed but the report was not delivered and we cannot deliver it within a reasonable time, or
- A duplicate charge occurred for the same transaction.
To request review, email thewashclosetusa@gmail.com with your order ID and the email used at checkout. Chargebacks without contacting support may result in account suspension.
5) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, or overload the Service.
- Bypass rate limits, access controls, licensing restrictions, or security measures.
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes, harassment, or to violate others’ privacy.
- Share, resell, or redistribute Reports except as permitted by law and these Terms.
6) Data Accuracy and Disclaimers
Reports are compiled from third-party data sources that may contain errors or omissions. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability. You should independently verify critical information before making decisions.
7) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
8) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
9) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
